Helles Lager
Riverfront Lager
Helles Lager
The river shapes more than our great city, it shapes our lives… the food we eat, the music we love, how we live our life in the Cresent City. All that we enjoy flows from the rich waves of culture that have flooded us with pride. We salute the river and the city with our flagship beer. Our golden lager starts with a fruity, peach nose. The flavor is moderately sweet with a soft malty character and a crisp clean finish.

Kennerbrau Kolsch:
16 IBU Port Orleans Brewing Co.
New Orleans, LA
Originating in Cologne and enjoyed all the way in Jefferson Parish, our Kolsch is an easy-drinking, slightly fruity German-style ale with a light toasted wheat flavor. Brewed for those who don’t need “all that fancy stuff” in their beer, Kennerbrau will be your new geaux-to no matter where you're from.
Mexican-style Lager
Dorada
Mexican-style Lager
Gold flowed into the Spanish Treasury from "The New World" and territory of Mexico and with it inspired the Mexican golden lager. Dorada, Spanish for 'golden', is our ode to the lager brewing traditions of Mexico. Dorada is a crisp light-bodied golden lager with just a touch of sweetness from the lemon zest it's brewed with. Put down that lime because you are not going to need it in this beer.
Pair with a hot afternoon by the pool or with friends watching the soccer game
Brown Ale
Bucktown
Brown Ale
Nestled along the lake is a slice of the city few tourists ever find... and we're cool with that. Bucktown's bootlegger roots and laid back vibe inspired our easy drinking brown ale. With hints of caramel and coffee, this beer has a flavor all its own like the place that shares its name.
Seasonal
Blonde Ale
Bacchus
Blonde Ale
Perfect for the all-day parade goer, Bacchus Blonde is a light-bodied blonde ale that gives off a mild malt character. Made to drink through Mardi Gras, its smooth finish will easily get you through to Bacchus Sunday and beyond.
Hibiscus Lime Ale
3-day weekend
Hibiscus Lime Ale
Call in sick and head out for a 3-Day Weekend. This clean, refreshing summer ale is made with hibiscus and lime for a lightly tart and fruity flavor. We strategically combined 1/3 sour base with 2/3 traditional ale to bring a light tart and even more refreshing blend. It’s perfect for beaches, BBQs, backyards, and bonfires. You know what, it’s perfect for whatever the Summer brings.
IPA - Hazy/ Juicy/ New England
Gleason Juicy IPA
IPA - Hazy/ Juicy/ New England
This boldly hopped, unfiltered IPA is a tribute to our friend, Steve Gleason. Dry-hopped with ~5lbs per barrel of Azacca, Mosaic, and Lemondrop hops. A percentage of the profits from this beer benefits Team Gleason and its mission to provide technology, equipment, care, and adventures for people living with ALS.
Tart Ale
Apple Pie
Tart Ale
This light fall gose sends a pie to your taste buds with bushels of apple flavor combined with a touch of vanilla and plenty of cinnamon to help give it that delicious pie crust character.
Coffee Stout
Coffee Break
Coffee Stout
New Orleans traces its “coffee break” back to the 1840s, when Rose Nicaud operated her stand out of French Market Stall 16. This time-honored tradition inspires this stout collaboration with our neighbors over at French Truck Coffee. Brewed using their single-origin Guatemala and Le Coq Grand Rouge blend, Coffee Break will change the way you think about “cold brew”.
Our Story
In New Orleans, you won’t just find culture in a museum, you’ll find it in a can. Port Orleans Brewing Company is proof that New Orleans isn’t just a gumbo pot – it’s a fermenter. Ever since the French founded New Orleans in 1718, fun loving people from all over the world have come here, not just to make their imprint, but to have a drink or two. There’s no doubt in our minds that, if the Statue of Liberty were in our port, she’d be holding up a cold one.
Hey! When it’s like 100% humidity like 100% of the time, beer is important. But not just any beer would do then, any more than it will now. For centuries, the Port of New Orleans has been the epicenter of converging ideas and cultural influence. Combine that with our famously unquenchable thirst for po-boys and tall boys, and you have the perfect setting for Port Orleans, a brewery always in pursuit of innovation and exploration. And we’re known as much for giving back as we are for our 6-packs.
In 2017, Port Orleans Brewing Company claimed a stool on the New Orleans beer timeline, joining the new generation of craft breweries who have nudged out the foregone era and the longstanding tradition in this region of mass-produced beers. No longer is boring volume beer good enough. Make way for a new renaissance for true innovation in the craft beer world.
And when it comes to originality, we like to think the tide has turned because of Port Orleans and our neighbor breweries. On our way to becoming the city’s flagship brewery, we’re constantly exploring and releasing something new and something for beer fanatics to get all hopped up about. We are a lab for beermaking, a melting pot of collaboration and imagination. Our young and energetic brew masters – “mixologists of hops, barley and grain” – keep abreast of worldwide trends and have started a few of their own. And here we let tourists and local tasters, beer club members, and craft beer connoisseurs from all backgrounds assist in the ideation process. The result: a fermentation of invention and creativity on behalf of New Orleans’ historically finicky and discerning palates.
Feeding on feedback from the very people who obsess over the suds, it’s always happening at The Port. Stouts, porters, ales, lagers, barley wines, IPAs, sours, saisons, kolsches...there’s no limit to the possibilities, no territory left unexplored. We’re up for anything that sparks a new sensation, anything that gets us juiced.
And while beer is at the heart of what we do at Port Orleans, we do more than beer with heart. POB quenches all kinds of needs in the community. We’re engrained with a purpose. Connected to local causes that matter. With Port Orleans at the bow, New Orleans is getting happier all time.
